Warm but with issues

It's been a cold winter in NYC and I wanted a super warm, longer down coat for my 3rd grader. The material is really slippery. Wish there was a way to cinch/adjust the hood. Coverage is not great and slips off. Ended up sewing it smaller. The velcro closu...
