Brooklyn’s own creative genius KidSuper has just turned PUMA kits (and boots) into his own canvas, giving some of the world’s biggest clubs a fresh makeover. Seems like this summer is about scoring in style — on and off the pitch.

Football purists, you might clutch your pearls at this one — but the rest of us? We’re grabbing our stadium hotdog because the pitch has never looked this good.
Colm Dillane, a.k.a KidSuper is no stranger to the beautiful game. Once an avid (and pretty good might we add) football player in his university days at NYU, he’s always loved the sport — and he’s finally been given his time to show it. PUMA called up the Brooklyn genius, known for his chaotic and fearless artistic style, to reimagine the kits for some of the world’s biggest clubs: Man City, Borussia Dortmund, Al-Hilal, FC Salzburg, Mamelodi Sundowns, Palmeiras and Monterrey. These PUMA teams are heading to the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup this summer with not only their KidSuper stamped kits, but special editions of the FUTURE, ULTRA and KING football boots from the duo’s collection too.
KidSuper took the jersey design rulebook, doodled all over it, and handed it back in technicolor, because the kits are loud, proud and absolutely not here to blend in. All boasting dryCELL sweat-wicking technology, with some engineered with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, so staying cool this summer won’t be a problem (for you or the players).
Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund’s bee mascot inspired KidSuper’s twist on their kit with the geometric honeycomb’s hexagonal lines and dynamic lines taking centre stage. Staying true to the team’s German DNA and colours, the kit is sure to have the players (and you) standing out on and off the pitch.

Manchester City
For Man City’s kit revamp, KidSuper took three key things into mind; the city’s hardworking nature, the team’s traditional sash design, and the energy of the team’s historic Poznań celebration. Quite the holy footie trinity if you ask us.

FC Salzburg
In true FC Salzburg style, edelweiss flowers and the colours of lush Austrian pastures filled KidSuper’s mind with sweeping strokes of ivory, lemon, and baby blue across the kit. Hand-drawn graphics and watercolour palettes are a signature KidSuper touch, here rallying a call from the mountains set to echo across the USA this summer.

Palmeiras
Brazilian team Palmeiras, who were also the inaugural club world champions back in 1951, get a baroque-inspired home kit from the American designer. Featuring a leaf motif against a golden base, a nod to the club’s Copa Rio triumph and timeless status, the kit is a glowing reminder of who the OG champions really are.

Al-Hilal
For Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal, KidSuper took a cue from the club’s Arabic name, paying homage to ‘land of the crescent moon’ with a midnight blue colourway. A glowing lunar graphic reflects the quiet confidence of the team, known across Asia as ‘The Boss’ — this shirt is one for the dreamers, the ones with their heads in the sky, and their eyes on victory.

Monterrey
KidSuper kept the creativity flowing, turning the luscious and picturesque mountained-filled view from Monterrey’s recognisable BBVA Bancomer stadium into a flowing painting on the Mexican team’s kit. The organic brushstrokes are a soft reminder to never forget where you come from.

Mamelodi Sundowns FC
Finally, for South African team Mamelodi Sundowns, KidSuper kept it simple, referencing the team’s iconic name in the kit design. With colours replicating that of a warm, golden sunset, the kit honours the beautiful home it was born from.

KidSuper’s designs are rooted in club culture, bringing a fresh take to the beautiful game and its individual teams, because football is community and football is storytelling. It doesn’t hurt to get a win though, and this collection doesn’t just sit on the bench — it’s scoring goals.
