Has there ever been a time more chaotic and disruptive in fashion than the present, where we have the essence of basicness trending alongside a literal handbag disguised as a baguette? The answer is surprisingly ‘yes’, and it was the 1960s — which also happens to have crept its bob-cut head back into the zeitgeist.
