Trainer Trendsetters

Last year the fashion mob sang from the rooftops about trainers, and there's no sign of silencing them this year. Trainers have had a revamp for 2017, so get ready to kick off the season with a new pair of kicks and some brand new sneaker trends for men. We're still looking to sports for inspiration when it comes to casual dressing, and this season is enamoured with the basketball court and the skating park. Look to Supra and Criminal Damage for streetwear inspiration and basketball pro trainer trends for men, or think classic Converse and Vans for effortless skater style.

Trailblazing trainer trends for men

Fashion has always been fond of a rose tint, especially when it comes to the nostalgia of vintage. Step up your trainer collection with a nod to the past in a pair of retro trainers. Many brands have looked to their archives for inspiration, including Reebok and adidas, who've reissued original designs that'll have you dreaming of the good old days. If you're more a future planner, take on this season's futuristic footwear. Think minimalistic designs with zips instead of laces, and innovative details such a neoprene panelling and gold hardware. Neutrals and metallics will give your trainers a fashion edge, whilst monochrome will put you with the big leagues when it comes to trendsetting.
