Rip Curl sees itself as the ultimate surf brand. The label was founded by two surfers, Doug “Claw” Warbrick and Brian “Sing Ding” Singer in 1969 in southern Australia, near Melbourne. The two surf enthusiasts noticed that almost no companies made wetsuits designed for surfers, so they started work on designing a wetsuit specifically suited to the needs of surfing. Rip Curl has stayed true to their favourite sport until today, providing countless kinds of surf equipment as well as clothing collections popular on and off the beach.
