French designer Faycal Amor founded his label Plein Sud in 1986. Amor was born in Morocco in the early 1950s and his North African influences can very much be seen in his label’s design as well as the brand’s name, Plein Sud, meaning “very southern”. With their fusion of North African flair and French style, Plein Sud experienced overnight success in France and countless other countries.
