Faycal Amor was born in the Moroccan harbor town of Tangier in the early fifties. In 1986, he founded the label Plein Sud (“very southern”) in Paris and began designing glamourous women’s fashion with North African flair. The label soon had a first class reputation in Parisian fashion circles and then around the world. Plein Sud Jeanius is a sub-label that combines the exotic elements of the original brand with a young, fresh look. Pop and rock influences can also be seen in Plean Sud Jeanius designs, translated into luxurious looks befitting the Plein Sud label.
