Faycal Amor was born in the Moroccan harbor town of Tangier in the early fifties. In 1986, the designer founded the label Plein Sud (“very southern”) in Paris. In this spirit, Faycal Amor began to create glamourous women’s fashion with North African flair. The label soon had a first class reputation in Parisian fashion circles and then the world. Plean Sud Jeanius is a sub-label that combines the exotic elements of the original brand with a young, fresh look. Pop and rock influences can also be seen in Plean Sud Jeanius designs, naturally translated into a premium look following the lead of the main fashion house.
