Esprit was born from the idea of Susie and Douglas Tompkins, who started to sell clothing out of trunk of their car in1968 - by the seventies, Esprit had already established seven product lines, which laid the foundation for their later success. Also known since its early years, is the world-famous, triple-bar "E" logo that was designed in 1979 by John Cassado that still labels all Esprit products. Today, the founders dedicate themselves to environmental protection in South America. Since 1986, Esprit has also represented the German market and has since inspired many customers.
