Edith & Ella was founded in 2004 by Danish designer Line Markvardsen, who named her label after her grandmothers. The label opened their first concept boutique in 2005 in Copenhagen and now has three other shops in Denmark as well as selling their designs in numerous countries throughout Europe. Despite this, the brand sees itself as small and independent and tries to keep hold of the exclusivity that comes with this image, which Line Markvardsen values as it means she is closer to her customers and their needs and wants. Edith & Ella stand out through their great silhouettes, best quality fabrics and relaxed but exciting style, making them an exclusive but very popular label.
