DC Shoes offer footwear for the EXTREME! The brand was started in 1994 from the T-shirt label "Eight Ball" and the jeans label "Droors". Its founder, Ken Block, an avid snowboarder, his buddy Damon Way, a skateboarder, and Aaron Lovejoy practiced with their unique style from the start, an important influence on the skate-wear culture. DC Shoes also became one of the first to assemble a team of skater pros for a world tour. Other teams in motocross and surfing followed. Through a strong commitment to extreme sports and the close collaboration with the best athletes earned the label a lot of credibility on the sports scene and remains as one of the most important skater labels today.
