The Cimarron story began in 1979, when the Saez Merino family launched Cimarron as a sister brand to their established brand Lois. In 1987 Cimarron got a makeover when Jean Elbaz began creating fun, sexy designs for the French market. In the late ‘80s Cimarron helped to revolutionise the denim world with the introduction “surteint” denim used for jeans and jackets: 100% cotton, soft to the touch and available in a wide range of colours. In the early ‘90s, this success was duplicated when Cimarron broke away from typical American vintage look by introducing stretch jeans. Since then Cimarron have gone from strength to strength: they now design menswear which, along with their original womenswear, is sold around the world. The label’s headquarters and showroom are in Paris, on the exclusive Boulevard de Sébastopol. Cimarron – the colourful choice for stylish men and women.
